Regarding wedding announcements

I found this online. I hope it's helpful.
Wedding Announcements WORDING and ETIQUETTE
Announcement cards are sent on the day of or shortly after a wedding if there were no invitations sent. They are often sent instead of invitations to friends who live at too far a distance to easily attend the ceremony. Announcements require no acknowledgment although it is customary for the recipient to send either a brief note expressing their best wishes; a gift is always appropriate but not required. The announcement can either be made on a formal invitation card or on fine cotton-fiber wedding stationery

  • Avatar Jessica How much should I pay someone to type & print my invitation, reception cards & response cards?
Jan 22, 2011 by Jessica | Posted in Weddings

My wedding is this July coming & I m looking for someone to type and print my invitations, reception & response cards up. I m not creative at all and I don t have a big budget to work with so I brought some wedding invitation kits from Michaels arts & craft store totally $80 for 120 count. But I found one person who said the would print the all above for $150 but I m not sure if that is a lot to charge? Could I please get some advice or referrals.

    • Why would you need someone to do this for you? If you bought the invitation kits, all you have to do is go to the website it says to, choose your wording and print them. You can easily do that yourself and save your money for something better. Its just foolish to have someone else do something so simple for you.
